HERNDON
Darron Anthony “COCO” Herndon, 16, born Nov. 4, 1997, of Angie and a former resident of New Orleans, departed this life on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his residence.
Darron was a student at Varnado High School.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Christina (Kelvin) Moses of Angie; three sisters, Julia, Taylor and Sabrina Herndon; two brothers, Kelvin and Alexander Moses, both of Angie; his grandmother and step-grandfather, Cheryl Vidal and Randall Tegtmeier; his great-grandmothers, Lena Vidal and Diane Cowan; three aunts, Melissa Herndon, Stephanie Braggs and Maxine Herndon, all of New Orleans; two uncles, Edward McDowell of New Orleans; his step-grandparents, Alexander (Linda) Sheridan of Angie; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Max Herndon, and his step-grandfather, Manuel Sanders.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Nolan Robinson officiating.
