WARREN
John Ira Warren passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Regency Hospital in Covington.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Gail Magee of Franklinton; four sons, LaDarrell (Tracie) Magee, LaJohn (LaKeithia) Magee, Demetrice Magee and Raymond Magee; five sisters, Ora Brock, Ora Lee Warren, Brenda Warren and Lisa (James) Causey, all of Franklinton, and Joyce (Odell) Allen of New Orleans; three brothers, Alford Warren Jr. and James Earl Warren, both of Franklinton, and Bennie Paul Warren of Baton Rouge; two aunts, Bernestine (Eugene) Jenkins and Carnell (Winzlow) Tate of Franklinton; one uncle, Tome Warren of Franklinton; 19 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alford Warren Sr. and Lola Mae Wilson Warren; two nieces, Lori Allen Jones and Roberta Bickham; and one nephew, Oliver Warren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 to 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Greater Friendship Church of God in Christ with Pastor Esco Burton – pastor and Pastor Antonio Graves – eulogist.
