KUHN
James “Jim” Daniel Kuhn, age 69, born on Aug. 23, 1944, in Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at his brother’s residence in Bogalusa.
He is survived by special friends, Mary Louise Miller and the Miller family; three sisters, Francis (Eddie) Duncan of White Sand, Miss., Gladys (Hardy) Jenkins of Varnado and Wilda (Larue) Lott of Springfield; two brothers, Richard Kuhn and Donald R. Kuhn Sr., both of Bogalusa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Kuhn; his parents, Barney E. Kuhn and Ruth Mixon Kuhn; five sisters, Dorothy Harvey, Ester Sheridan, Oneida Moore, Catherine Creel Sharp and Daphne Miller; and three brothers, Willie Kuhn, Ray Kuhn and Martin Kuhn.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Bogalusa from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church at 10 a.m. The Rev. Pete Underwood will be officiating with interment to follow at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
