CONERLY
Edward Conerly passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the age of 84 in Covington. He was born Aug. 16, 1929.
Conerly served as a soldier in the armed services for two years during the Korean War.
More than 30 years ago he joined Midway Church of Christ Holiness USA. There he served as a committed/faithful active church member.
He leaves to cherish his loving memoires his loving wife of 61 years, Ruby Conerly of Covington; one son, Bruce (Brenda) Conerly; two loving grandchildren, Breann (Billy) Fobbs and Brandt; two adorable great-grandchildren, Caden and Jordan Fobbs; one sister, Eloise (Edgar) Tillson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Filmore Conerly and Emily Peters Conerly, and one sibling, Delores.
Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014, from 9 a.m. until time of Service.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Midway Church of Christ Holiness, with Elder Leroy Divinity – pastor officiating.
