A proposed change to the Bogalusa City Charter, the only item on today’s ballot, has been approved by voters by a margin of 75 percent. A total of 159 votes were cast, with 120 people voting in favor of the measure. The amendment changes the regular inauguration date for Bogalusa elected officials to Jan. 1 following an election.
