Edwin H. Seal, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Norfolk, Va.

He was born in Bogalusa on Oct. 3, 1926, and was a retired Navy veteran who was known for his generous giving of himself.

He is survived by two sons, Denny LeRoy Seal and Kenneth Wayne Seal; a stepson, Robert Branard; two grandchildren, Billy Ray and Jennifer Seal; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Alfred Seal; and a half-brother, Pat Seal.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Seal; a son, Robert “Robbie” Edwin Seal; a grandson, Denny Seal Jr.; and his parents, Dolph and Laura Fortenberry Seal.

The family received friends Sunday, April 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.

A graveside service was held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park.
