Annunciation Catholic School

Annunciation Catholic School is accepting new students in Pre-K 3 through eighth grade for the 2014-15 school year. Registration packets can be obtained on line at www.acsbogalusa.org, by calling 735-6643 or by stopping by the school at 511 Avenue C. Interested families are welcome to schedule an appointment or a tour.

Annunciation is approved by the Louisiana State Department of Education and the Archdiocese of New Orleans. ACS recently received Recommendation for 5-Year Reaccreditation by the SACS/CASI AdvancED organization. The ACS curriculum is based on the State of Louisiana’s Academic Curriculum, Louisiana’s Birth to Five Early Learning and Development Standards and meets Bulletin 741 standards for non-public schools. The ACS Pre-K program is licensed by the Louisiana State Department of Education as an accredited early learning classroom.

Ben’s Ford pre-kindergarten

Ben’s Ford Christian Preschool registration is currently open for new 3- and 4-year olds for the 2014-15 school year. Students must be 3 or 4 by Sept. 30 to register, and all 3-year-old students must be fully potty-trained.

BFCS is a state licensed, Class A, 4-Star Christian preschool with a full-day program located at 59253 Mt. Pleasant Road in Bogalusa. Before and after-school care are also available. Parents may call 735-8385 to request a packet and set up a tour. The child’s birth certificate, Social Security card and immunization record are required for enrollment.

Northshore Charter School

Northshore Charter School will add third, fourth, fifth and 10th grades for the 2014-15 school year, to the kindergarten, first, second and ninth grades that began in the current school year.

Registration for all grades for next year began on Monday and continues through May 30. Northshore Charter is a public school of choice. There is no tuition for students to attend Northshore Charter School.

Enrollment packets are available online at www.northshorecharterschool.org (under the Registration Tab), or pick one up at the school office, 111 Walker St. in Bogalusa.
