The Franklinton Kiwanis Club will present its Little Miss and Mr. Kiwanian Pageant in May, with a king and queen in each age category: Ages 1-5 and ages 6-10. Also chosen will be first and second runner-up for each category.

Applicants must submit an application with a photograph for inclusion in the program. The event is a fundraiser to benefit community projects centered around children in Wash-ington Parish.

The winner will be the contestant who raises the most money.

The deadline for turning in money will be May 24 at noon. Any money collected and/or turned in after the deadline will be considered additional donations and not counted as a part of the contest.

Attire for contestants will be dressy.
