Sandra Dee Skinner, daughter of Marie Thomas Skinner and Jack Skinner Jr. of Slidell, was born on Feb. 4, 2014, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 18 inches in length.

She is the granddaughter of Kathy Crain and Joe Bowman of Bogalusa, Jack Sr. and Wilma Skinner of Slidell, Pauline Thomas of Franklinton and the late D.S. Thomas. Betty Crain of Bogalusa and Shirley Lumpkin of Poplarville, Miss., are her great-grandmothers.
