PHILLIPS

Annette Armour Phillips, born Dec. 11, 1923, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the age of 90.

She served the community as a nurse and retired from the Bogalusa Charity Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, William R. (Brenda) Armour III of Bogalusa and Michael Floyd (Marti) Armour of Sun, and a daughter, Pamela Pierce of Sun; two brothers, J.B. (Joan) Kennedy of State Line and Clyde Jewell (Yvonne) Kennedy of Angie; two sisters, Myra Lee Boone of State Line and Betty Kennedy; two grandchildren, William Riley Armour IV and Darren Michael Pierce; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Armour Jr.; five brothers, Brice Kennedy, Harry Kennedy, Havon Kennedy, Carlos Kennedy and Ford Kennedy; three sisters, Earline Folks, Gloria Wilson and Henrietta Williamson; and a son-in-law, John Michael Pierce.

Visitation will be Friday, March 21 at Brown_McGehee Funeral Home, from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Wilson will conduct the services, with the interment to follow in the John R. Pierce Cemetery located in Sun.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of the South at 501 Robert Blvd. Suite 304, Slidell, LA 70458.
