Thomas pre-K, kindergarten

Thomas Elementary School will hold its annual pre-kindergarten and kindergarten registration Friday, April 4, from 8 a.m. until noon. Required for enrollment are a birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record and proof of residence, such as a gas, water or electric bill. The child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30 to enroll in pre-kindergarten and 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 to enroll in kindergarten.

Franklinton Primary

Franklinton Primary registration for the 2014-2015 school year will be held in the school auditorium beginning Monday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for students whose last names begin with A-L. The following day, April 1, children with names beginning with M-R will be registered, and on Wednesday students whose names begin with S-Z will be registered.

The child must turn 4 or 5 years old by Sept. 30 to qualify for the Pre-K or kindergarten programs.

Required for enrollment are a birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record and proof of residence, such as a gas, water or electric bill.

Ben’s Ford pre-kindergarten

Ben’s Ford Christian Preschool registration is currently open for new 3- and 4-year olds for the 2014-2015 school year. Students must be 3 or 4 by Sept. 30 to register, and all 3-year-old students must be fully potty-trained.

BFCS is a state licensed, Class A, 4-Star Christian preschool with a full-day program located at 59253 Mt. Pleasant Road in Bogalusa. Before and after-school care are also available. Parents may call 735-8385 to request a packet and set up a tour. The child’s birth certificate, Social Security card and immunization record are required for enrollment.

Wesley Ray pre-K, kindergarten

Wesley Ray Elementary School’s pre-K and kindergarten registration date has been set for Wednesday, April 16 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Parents and guardians of children who will be 4 or 5 years of age by Sept. 30 are asked to bring their children to Wesley Ray Elementary, located at 30523 Wesley Ray Road in Angie, to register.

Parents must provide (with no exceptions) the following items in order for children to be registered: birth certificate, an updated immunization record, the child’s Social Security card and proof of residency. The child must accompany the parent and/or guardian to school on this day.

Enon pre-K, kindergarten

Enon Elementary School’s pre-K and kindergarten registration will be held Wednesday and Thursday, April 16-17, in the school auditorium from 9 a.m. until noon.

Children must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30 to enroll in pre-K, and 5 years old on or before Sept/ 30 to enroll in kindergarten.

Required for enrollment are a birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record and proof of residence, such as a gas, water or electric bill.

Northshore Charter School

Northshore Charter School will add third, fourth, fifth and 10th grades for the 2014-15 school year, to the kindergarten, first, second and ninth grades that began in the current school year.

Registration for all grades for next year began on Monday and continues through May 30. Northshore Charter is a public school of choice. There is no tuition for students to attend Northshore Charter School.
