Tree seedling sale continues at USDA Service Center

The Bogue Chitto – Pearl River Soil and Water Conservation District will continue its annual tree seedling sale Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the USDA Service Center, 1111 Washington St., in Franklinton.
The district, in association with the NRCS, has many seedlings and plants available for purchase.
Hardwood seedlings and fruit tree seedlings are $2 each.
Quantities are limited and no species is guaranteed, as they are on a first come, first serve basis.
Varieties that have been available are ashe magnolia, chiquapin oak, crabapple, dogwood, sassafras, yellow poplar and western mayhaw.
