Franklinton High School’s January PBIS winners have been announced.
Employee of the month of January was Nathaniel Flowers. Selected as teacher of the month was Taffenie Mizell.
Students of the Month were chosen by their teachers, as having displayed PRIDE — Personal Responsibility in Developing Excellence. A student from each grade level is chosen, and the winners received prizes including a concession stand pass, a sporting event pass and a Demon Pride T-shirt. Prizes are provided by the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support team.
The teacher and employee of the month are selected by faculty and staff, looking for someone who has demonstrated PRIDE, and who has also gone above and beyond in their work. They each received a casserole or baked treats and $25. The prizes were provided by the FHS Teacher Courtesy Fund.
