Raelene Alice Dittmar, 63, died early Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at her home in Franklinton.

Born Aug. 26, 1950, Raelene was a native of Williamsport, Pa., and had lived in Franklinton for 10 years. She was retired from the Williamsport Hospital as a housekeeper. She enjoyed sewing and loved doing crafts, and she was forever a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Delories May Evans and Chris Evans of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mistie Rae Holmes and James Holmes of Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick Larry Holmes and Paula Holmes of Williamsport; four grandchildren and spouse, Jack Holmes, Olivia Holmes, Adelina Barber and Codie and Marcel Ducote; one great-grandchild, Eli Aaron Barber; and three brothers, Raymond Thorne of Allentown, Pa., Clyde Thorne of Williamsport and Grant Thorne of Leominster, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dittmar; her father, Raymond Thorne; and her mother and stepfather, Edith Wright Hughes and Samuel Hughes.

Raelene will be laid to rest alongside her family near Williamsport.
