CRAWFORD

Lovie Lee Jones Crawford, 74, born May 19, 1939, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She leaves to cherish her memories her stepfather, Deacon Percy Gatlin (Big Daddy) of Bogalusa; her stepmother, Myrtle Gatlin of Bogalusa; three sons, Elder J. Jones of Bogalusa, Keith Crawford of Detroit, Mich., and Chris Crawford of Bogalusa; two brothers, Carl Jones of Bogalusa and James Jones of upstate New York; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Jones Jr. and Vermell Gatlin; her husband, Willie Boy Crawford; and a brother, Joe Lewis Jones.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1412 North Ave, Bogalusa, from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Darrell Self officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
