Albatine Brumfield Hall, 93, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, In Dallas.

Born March 8, 1920, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She leaves to cherish her long-lasting memories, two daughters, Doris A. Hall and Martha Hall Pate, both of Dallas; one son, Leroy Hall of Pittsburg, Calif.; one foster daughter, Roxie (Sharon) Nicks of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Oscar Brumfield of New Orleans; one sister, Nancy Roberson of Varnado; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Maudes Brumfield; her husband, Marcus Hall; two sons, Earl and Roosevelt Blackwell; seven sisters, Mary “Dot” Davis, Nellie R. Owens, Ora Lee Johnson, Luberta Freeman, Edna Freeman, Beatrice Morris, Arthurine Brumfield; and one brother, Ollie Brumfield.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2-5 p.m., followed by a family hour from 5-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. James Foster Jr., pastor of Celestial Haven Baptist Church in Dallas, officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
