WEARY

James Sylvester Weary, 67, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Trinity Neurologic Rehab Center IGH LLC of Slidell.

He is survived by three daughters, Sarita Weary of New Orleans, Theresa Weary of Hammond and Jamie Lynn (Kelvin) May of Varnado; two grandchildren, Lauryn Gimirah Weary and Londyn Da’Layce Weary, both of Hammond; one brother, Levoice (Shirley) Weary of Cecilia; six sisters, Grover Nell Weary of Breaux Bridge, Rendoris Smith, Fannie Roberts and Armainer Weary, all of Angie, Armener Burrell of Covington and Arthel Hawthorne of Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Weary and Della Pittman Weary; and one brother, Ollie Gene Weary.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 29 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2-6 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church Cemetery.
