BROOKS

Jerry Brooks departed this life Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, in Bristow, Va., at the age of 54.

He was the devoted husband of Faye H. Brooks; son of the late Guardette and Retha Mark Brooks; beloved father of Jasmine L. and Jade N. Brooks; brother of Larry Brooks (Lillie), Terry Brooks (Marie), Gary Brooks (Darlene), Sandra Brooks-Bolden (Willie) and the late Perry and Darry Brooks; and brother-in-law of Julie D. Henderson and Vergie Brooks. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 62075 Seal Road in Angie, from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Jefferson Cemetery in Angie.

Relatives and friends of the family, as well as the pastor, officers and members of Wesley Ray United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend.
