STALBERTE

Leroy Stalberte, 61, was called home Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Beavers of Angie; one son, Johron Segura of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Yashika P. (Aniekan) Okon of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Otis Gene Mingo of Lake Providence and Daniel Mingo of New Orleans; one sister, Sylvia Alexander of McComb, Miss.; two grandsons, Elijah and Ezra Okon, of Washington, D.C.; two special nieces, Kashmia Robertson of Reserve and Karisma Robertson of Varnado; a special friend, Nancy Charlean Lewis of Angie; a great-aunt, Alberta Robinson of Angie; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stalberte; two brothers, James Mingo and Joseph Gibson; one sister, Gloria Jean Mingo; a nephew, Brandon Alexander; and his grandparents, Pearlie Russ, Alberta Stalberte and Henry Stalberte.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 18, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2-7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Superintendent Leslie Fields Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Thompson Cemetery in Angie.
