Classmates reunite on open seas

Some members of the Central Memorial High School Class of 1968 spent a week together on a Western Caribbean Cruise to celebrate their 45th class reunion. The group left New Orleans on the Carnival Conquest on Sept. 29, on their way to Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel Island. Class members enjoyed food, shows, games, dancing and swimming during their seven-day vacation. On board were Geraldine Robinson, Willie Delores Harry, Lenda Payne, Bobby Youngblood and wife, Marilyn Youngblood, Lois Toler and husband Larry Toler, Phalia Kendle and husband Jesse Kendle, and Gladys Lampton, who attending representing her husband, Bobby, who is CMHS classmate. The group enjoyed the trip so much that they are planning a trip to Las Vegas together in 2015.
