Tickets available now for Washington Parish Fair Rodeo Queen contest

Last Saturday, the Washington Parish Fair Rodeo Queen contestants met and registered for this year’s contest. Advance tickets tickets may be purchased through any one of the Rodeo Queen contestants.

The tickets are discounted $1. Adult tickets are $11 and child tickets are $9 in advance. These discounted tickets will be available only until Oct. 12.

Advance ticket sales under way for fair midway rides

Once again the midway rides and concessions for the 2013 Washington Parish Fair, which kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and runs through Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Washington Parish Fairgrounds in Franklinton, will be provided by Mighty Thomas Carnival.

Advance tickets sales have begun. Tickets are available at Magee Financial offices located at 1001 Washington St. in Franklinton, 414 Colum-bia St. in Bogalusa, 2225 Highway 190 in Covington and 403 Avenue G in Kentwood; Resource Bank, located at 950 10th Ave. in Franklinton and 402 Avenue B in Bogalusa; and Parish Credit at 951 Washington St. in Franklinton.

Tickets will be available daily during regular business hours through Oct. 15. Pay-one-price midway days will be Thursday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Armbands will be sold for $18, cash only.
