MAGEE

Louise Manning Magee, 88, a longtime resident of Franklinton, completed her earthly journey Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by three sons, Lynwood and Jason, both of Milwaukee, Wis., and Bobby Magee of Slidell; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Malcolm, and one daughter, Jo Ellen; her husband, Joel Magee; and nine siblings.

Visitation is set for Sunday, Sept. 1 from 5-7 p.m. at Doyle’s Funeral Home, 2430 Fourth St in Slidell. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday at noon at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness USA in Franklinton, preceded by a visitation beginning at 9 a.m.
