The move of the historic library through Bogalusa early Sunday required the temporary removal of some street signs, like the ones on Louisiana Avenue near Sullivan Drive. And although a few of the crape myrtle trees along the route were bent over under the wooden structure as it moved toward its resting place at Lake Vista, they all bounced back without apparent permanent damage. The signs, and some mailboxes that also had to be pulled up, were replaced within minutes.
