PITTMAN

Joyce L. Walker Pittman, 69, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Resthaven Living Center. She was born June 23, 1944.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Keith Pittman of Denver; one daughter, Karen Husband of Chicago; three brothers, Willie J. Walker of Pomona, Calif., James Kelly Walker of Alta Loma, Calif., and Ray Anthony Walker of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Melvina Marshall of Varnado; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Walker Sr.; her mother, Norma Walker; one son, Kenneth Pittman; two brothers, Clarence Walker Jr. and Vernell Walker; two sisters, Lillie Mae Stevens and Doris Foster; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Terrence August officiating.
