Virginia Jones Penley, born Dec. 21. 1921, passed away at her residence in Bush at the age of 91 on Aug. 22, 2013.

She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Bush and was very active in the Community Center.

She is survived by a son, David (Marsha) King of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Pam (Jessie) Parker of Bush; Diana Hinson (Daryll) Brown of Bush, Susie (James) Brook of Franklinton; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Charlotte Thomas Jones, and two sons, Tommy King and Howard King.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at Hebron Baptist Church in Bush at 2:30 p.m., with Dr. Mike Edens officiating.
