FORNEA

Florida Elaine McNabb Fornea, 66, a resident of Varnado, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was born July 10, 1947.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela (Leroy) Fornea and Kasey (James) Johnson; one son, Timothy Fornea; two sisters, Nita Faye Gerald and Allie Mae Mancuso; two brothers, Basil McNabb and Kenneth McNabb; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Fornea; her parents, Hollis B. McNabb and Mae Don Baughman McNabb; a sister, Dimple Marie Darr; two brothers, Hollis Ferrill McNabb and Julius McNabb; a grandson, Eric Michael Freeman; and a great-grandchild, Faith Saucier.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 22 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.
