MILEY

Blake Otis Miley died of natural causes on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at the age of 43. A resident of Pearl, Miss., he was born Dec. 1, 1969 and was a former Bogalusa resident.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie Miley of Pearl, Miss.; two daughters, Anna Miley and Brittany Pigott, both of Bogalusa, and a stepdaughter, Melanie (Spencer) Holliday of Brandon, Miss.; his mother, Joann Varnado Miley of Bogalusa; two brothers, Mike (Staci) Miley of Pearl and Ronnie (Faye) Miley of Nashville, Tenn.; a niece, Ashley Miley of Pearl; a great-nephew, Dustyn Hickman of Pearl; a nephew, Clint Cotton of Hammond; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald P. Miley; his paternal grandparents, Prentiss and Sedgie Miley; and maternal grandparents, Otis and Bertha Varnado.

A graveside memorial was held Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. at Miley Cemetery, with Brother Carl Beech officiating.
