MAGEE

Myrtle Lee Reviere Magee, 84, began her life on this earth on Nov. 26, 1928, and after 84 years of living, loving and growing, she was called home to be with our Lord on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013.

Myrt joyfully joins her beloved husband, Willmon Huey “Bill” Magee; her mother, Hester Strahan Reviere; her father, Willie Richard Reviere; her son, Charles Chalmers Spears; seven sisters; two brothers; and many other family members and friends.

She leaves behind three children, Gwendolyn (Bruce) Cooper, Ted Magee and Terrie (Ben) Slade; 13 grandchildren, Bruce Cooper, George “Brice” Cooper, Susan Cooper, Kenneth Spears, Daniel Spears, Christopher Spears, Ted Magee Jr., Scott Magee, Kim (Albert) Mischler, Anna (John) Ober and Heather Slade; several great-grandchildren; other cherished family and friends; and abundant memories, stories, laughter and tears.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 5:34.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., and will continue on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Leran Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Strahan Cemetery.
