The Magnolia Chapter of the Humane Society of Louisiana has announced its upcoming spay/ neuter and adoption events.

An adoption event will be held Sunday, Aug. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at PetSmart in Covington, located at 45 Park Place Drive next to Home Depot.

The adoption fee is $75 for dogs and puppies, $65 for cats and kittens. Two kittens may be adopted for $100. The fee includes spay/ neuter, vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites and microchip for dogs.

Spaying and neutering will be done on Saturday and on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8 a.m. at Crossroads Clinic, 6664 Highway 43 North in Poplarville, Miss. The cost is $65 for dogs, $35 for cats, which includes rabies vaccination. Call 985-241-4290 to schedule your cat or dog.

Pet Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at Tractor Supply, 320Cumberland St. in Bogalusa from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Pets will be available for adoption.
