The life of Daniel Lee Williams, which began on Nov. 2, 1987, came to its close in New York on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.

He leaves behind his mother, Karen Rider Williams, originally from Bogalusa; his sister and brother-in-law, Sunny and Stephen Gray Jr., and his niece and nephew, Lydia and Stephen “Drew” Gray III of El Paso, Texas; his brother and sister-in law, Justin and Zelmira Farmer of Boston, Mass.; his father, Paul Williams of Rosepine, La.; and his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Sarah Williams of Zachary.

Daniel was a graduate of Bogalusa High School and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from LSU. He was pursuing graduate fine arts studies at Parsons New School of Design in Manhattan.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 9 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 4-9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for a memorial ceremony at 11 a.m. All of Daniel’s friends and family are encouraged to join us to honor a very bright light that is missing from us now.
