THOMAS

Ouida Thomas, 82, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Resthaven Living Center. She was a resident of the Lee’s Creek Community.

She is survived by two sisters, Nora Thomas (Lamar) Byrd of Isabel and Betty Joe Thomas (Charlie) Breath of Bogalusa, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Leta Haley Thomas; four brothers, Vernon, David, Royce and H.P. Thomas; two sisters, Edith Thomas Dupuy and her twin, Veda Thomas Vaughn; and a nephew, Cliff Stewart.

Visitation was held Friday, Aug. 9 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Chapel services were held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with burial following in Hayes Creek Cemetery at Clifton. The Rev. Jeff Mizell officiated.
