STROUD

Carolyn Jenkins Stroud, 65, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Bogalusa and member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She also worked at Bogalusa Community Medical Center for 38 years.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Stroud of Bogalusa; a son, Marshall “Marty” Crosby of Bogalusa; one daughter, Shannon Crosby (Kent) Moore of Bogalusa; two brothers, Marshall “Buddy” Jenkins and Danny Jenkins, both of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Marshall Lee Crosby Jr., Hannah Moore, Justin Moore and Alston Moore; and six nieces and four nephews.

Her parents, O’Neal and Lazelle Jenkins, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 11 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. and will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Pete Underwood. Burial will follow in Magee Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church building fund.

Pallbearers will be Richard T. Moore, Ray Pratts, Gary Magee, Todd Graham, Glen Magee and Ricky Culpepper.
