BURKHALTER

Paula Ross Burkhalter, 60, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at her residence in Lacombe. She was born on June 14, 1953.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, the Rev. Vincent Burkhalter of Lacombe; two sons, Kyle Jackson of Plano, Texas, and Keith (Tonya) Jackson of Bryan, Texas; two brothers, Glynn “Donnell” Ross and Michael Ross, both of Franklinton; four grandchildren, Kamron Jackson, Kadyn Jackson, Jordan Driver and Jayden Driver; and a host or relatives and friends.

Her parents, Elbert and Talmadge Jean Ross, and one brother, Augustus Ross, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 9 from 2-7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness, with Elder Washington Drake officiating and Elder Lionel Burkhalter as eulogist. Interment will be follow in Greenback Cemetery in Franklinton.
