The Magnolia Chapter of the Humane Society of Louisiana has announced its upcoming spay/ neuter and adoption events.

Adoption events will be held today and Sunday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at PetSmart in Covington, located at 45 Park Place Drive next to Home Depot.

The adoption fee is $75 for dogs and puppies, $65 for cats and kittens. Two kittens may be adopted for $100. The fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites and microchip for dogs.

Spaying and neutering will be done on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8 a.m. at Crossroads Clinic, 6664 Highway 43 North in Poplarville, Miss. The cost is $65 for dogs, $35 for cats. The fee includes rabies vaccination. Call 985-241-4290 to schedule your cat or dog.
