The Ladies of Excellence is a social group that aims to help the community to “come back alive.” Each woman in the group is different in her own way, and all of them bring something different to the table.

“By faith we strive” is the motto of the group.

“We care about our youth and also the families in our community,” said spokesperson Kashanie Warren of Franklinton.

“Our upcoming event Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at the Franklinton High School gym is titled ‘Keep calm and Get Crunk for Jesus,’” she said, “and we hope to see you there.

There will be free food, entertainment and giveways all through the night.

The guest speaker will be Minister Ladarron Gross.”
