O’Nell and John Bush, above, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 6, with a large group of family and friends. A surprise dinner party at Lee’s Creek Baptist Church Recreational Hall was hosted by their daughters-n-law, Nikki and Lisa Bush, and Margaret Gill and Nancy Bennett, sisters of O’Nell. Hostess gifts of beautiful red and pink roses in a pewter vase, a cake knife, a 50-year album and a gold rose were among a variety of beautiful cards and gifts.
