Frances Ernestine Williams, 74, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, in Bogalusa. She was born Sept. 1, 1938.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Sherwin “Red” Williams; a daughter, Sheree Williams (Davie) Wascom; a son, Gregory Sherwin (Myra) Williams; a brother, Joseph C. (Veronica) Moody; two brothers-in-law, Walter C. “Dub” (Katherine) Williams and Ernest Ray (Ann) Williams; grandsons, Dustin Wascom (Shantel), Gregory Williams (Buffy); granddaughters, LeAnne Williams, Emily Williams and Jennifer Parker; great-grandchildren, Layton Wascom, Hannah Wascom, Madison Wascom, Rashaun Bickham, Ashton Williams, Brooklyn Fields, Bailey Williams, Kaleigh Parker and Kassidy Parker.

Her parents, Clyde and Letha Moody, and a brother, Kearney Moody, preceded her in death.

Visitation was held Tuesday, July 16 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery, with the Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating.
