ARD

Mary Dockens Trosclair Ard, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence P. Ard; the mother of Rita Trosclair, Catherine Mae Stribling, Ruth Oquin and Irene Sarran; and the late Donald Trosclair Jr., Henry Trosclair and Eleanor Lefebure; the stepmother of Edward Ard, Ann Page, Alvin Ard, Donnie Ard and Amanda Lang Kopp. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Mary Ellis and C. J. Giordano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 14 at The River Retreat Center, 14253 Highway 190 in Covington.

The family wishes to give special thanks to her caregivers, Amy Welsh, Peggy Phipps, Maria Roberts and Jeraldine Singelton.
