Anna Lee Blackwell, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, in Sun. She was a member off Palestine Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, John Erwin Byrd of Houston, six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ira Byrd; her second husband, Eugene F. Blackwell; and a son, Howard Kendal Byrd.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 5 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 4-8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Ed Jenkins and the Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in Pierce Cemetery in Sun.
