BICKHAM

Stella Ann Bickham, 46, departed this life Friday, June 21, 2013.

She was born in Bogalusa on Dec. 31, 1966, one of five children born to Mary Lee Bickham and the Curtis Bickham. As a young child she joined Water Valley Church of God in Christ and later joined Greater Hayes Creek where she remained a member until death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Curtis Edward Hart of Franklinton; her fiancé, Roderick Mabon of Franklinton; her mother, Mary Lee Bickham of Franklinton; one sister, Zaddie Mae Brown (Dan L.) of Franklinton; two godbrothers, DeWayne (Stacy) Hunter of New Orleans and Todd (Shemeca) Magee of Franklinton; four nieces, Jessica Bickham, Bernice (James) Tate, Sharnell (Dwight) Handy and Bianca Bickham, all of Franklinton; one great-niece, Malaysia Bickham of Franklinton; two nephews, Frank Bickham and Terrance Bickham, both of Franklinton; three great-nephews, David Z. Bickham, Ja’marion Tate and Deo’nte Tate, all of Franklinton; four aunts, Nelia Varnado of Bogalusa, and Ora Dee Bickham, Lucy Carson and Jessie Mae Miller, all of Franklinton; four uncles, Silas Bickham, Donald Causey, Willie J. Clark and Joe Handy, all of Franklinton; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Bickham; and three sisters, Curtis Lee Bickham, Yvonne Bickham Toomer and Dorothy Ann Bickham.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26 from 2-6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerome Warren Sr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Greater Hayes Creek Cemetery.
