Charles Brock “Brocky” Thomas, 57, passed away at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence in Franklinton.

Born Feb. 11, 1956, he was a former pipefitter, an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his father, Charlie P. Thomas of Franklinton; his partner of 13 years, Connie Rodriguez of Franklinton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Autumn and Shane Collett of Hammond and Brooke Myree Thomas of Franklinton; two grandchildren, Paisley and Parkston Collett; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Lane and Connie Thomas of Hammond; four nieces; one great-niece and one great-nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

His mother, Mary Ellen Knight Thomas, and a sister, Cindy Ellen Thomas Seal, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22 at Crain Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Eric Williams and the Rev. Jerry Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
