JUNEAU

Virgie Mary Juneau, 85, who was born on Dec. 25, 1927, in Pineville and a resident of Carriere, Miss., passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, Miss.

She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Joseph (Bonnie) Juneau of Picayune, Miss., Joseph W. (Dot) Juneau Jr. of McComb, Miss., and Michael P. (Crystal) Juneau of Carriere; two sisters, Betty (Dale) Johnson of Tioga and Mae Jane Stockdale of Sylacauga, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Deanna Marie Juneau (Glynn) Mayeaux of Denham Springs; numerous other sisters-in-law; six grandchildren, Jeanne, Christian, Craig, Justin, Jason and Daryl; three great-grandchildren, Ian, Dawson and Eli; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Willary “Totsie” Juneau Sr.; her parents, Joseph Elonzo Fausphoul and Janie Marie Miller Fausphoul; and numerous sisters and brothers.

Visitation was held Saturday, June 15, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the Funeral Mass, which was held at 11 a.m., celebrated by Father Patrick Collum. Entombment followed at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery.
