CROSSLEY

A native of Warnerton, Annie Pearl Dillon Crossley, 85, born July 28, 1927, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013, at her residence in Franklinton.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two granddaughters, Shirley Warren and Sabrina (Steve) Magee of Franklinton; Rolainer Warren and Larry Warren, whom she raised as family; six great-granddaughters, Sunje’ (Brandon) Frank, Jameka Warren of New Orleans, Ebony Warren and Latitia Warren of Franklinton and Lotoya and Coranisha of Laplace; four great-grandsons, Norwood Warren, Albert Warren and Javon Cage of New Orleans and Lorenzo Robinson of Franklinton; three great-great granddaughters; four great-great grandsons; a daughter-in-law, Lillie Mea Holts; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Kirb Dillon and Janie Holmes Dillon; her husband, Robert Roy Crossley; two children, Marshal Ball and Hollis Holts; five sisters, Clara Mea Dillon Crossley, Goldie Hart, Edna Taylor, Mandy Lee Brock and Bessie Lee Waston; and three brothers, Charlie Mack Dillon, W.J. Dillon and M.C. Dillon.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-7 p.m., with a family hour from 7-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11a.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerome Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Greater Hayes Creek Cemetery.
