Each year, the Bogalusa Rotary Club grants a $1,000 scholarship to a high school graduate who is a resident of Ward 4 in Washington Parish. This year’s recipient is Hannah Margaret Pittman, right, a graduate of Franklinton High School, who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career. Dually enrolled through Early Start with Southeastern, she has earned 12 hours of college credit, and has been accepted to Louisiana State University’s Honors College. While in high school, she was very active in school-related extra curricular activities and has received numerous awards.
