Theresa Marie Doby, 21, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at her residence in Hammond.

Born Oct. 16, 1991, she graduated with the Pine High School Class of 2010. She graduated from the Delta College Dental Assistant program in October 2012. Theresa was first and foremost a loving and devoted mother to her 7-month-old daughter. She will be forever missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by here daughter, Saige Noel Colona; her mother and stepfather, Cherie and Danny Henley of Pine; her father and stepmother, Kenneth Doby Sr. and Pamela Doby of Terrytown; a brother, Kenny Doby Jr. of Pine; her grandmother, Ethel Estel Porrovecchio of Harvey; her grandfather, Laurance Lee Doby of Lucedale, Miss.; her step grandmother, Marilyn Schilling of Pine; three stepsisters; two stepbrothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Frank Porrovecchio and Helen Marie Doby.

Visitation was held Thursday, June 6 at Crain Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. David Easterling officiating. Burial followed in Pine First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kenny Doby Jr., Grayson Henley, D.J. Cortez, Dirk Cortez, T.J. Melancon and Michael Melancon.
