JENKINS

Robert Lavell Jenkins, 77, a resident of Bogalusa, died at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 10, 1936, he loved farming, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Jenkins of Bogalusa; one daughter, Shelia Breland of Bogalusa; two grandsons, Cody Breland and Dustin Orgeron, both of Bogalusa; a special brother, Richard Jenkins; a brother, Don Jenkins; and a sister, Myrtle Tally.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service, conducted by the Rev. Phil Thigpen, will be Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
