RUSH

Jessie E. Rush, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at his residence in Bogalusa. Born Sept. 9, 1928, he was a member of Monroe Street Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.

He is survived by one son, Bruce Rush (Deborah), and one daughter, Connie Rush Boyd (Charles), both of Bogalusa; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His wife, Nelda Faye Rush, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 10 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Jenkins and the Rev. David Easterling will officiate.
