MAGEE-STONE

Lenon Lenora Magee-Stone, a longtime resident of Bogalusa, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2013, at The Guest House in Slidell.

Born May 25, 1922, she was a seamstress and a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she taught beginner Sunday school for 60 years. She was a loving wife, She is survived by a daughter, Lisa; a son, Roy (Francis); four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; a niece, Louise (Chita) White of Detroit; a sister-in-law, Carrie Magee of Bogalusa; a very special great-niece, Renee D. White of Novi, Mich.; and several other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation and celebratory services begin on Thursday, May 9, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 444 Elliott, Bogalusa, with the funeral service to be held at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Cook-Richmond Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
