MILEY

Joyce Davis Miley, 78, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at her home in Bayou Pigeon. She was formerly of Denham Springs.

She is survived by her six sons, Glen (Peggy) Miley, Mark (Leigh) Miley, Robert Miller, Jimmy (Ollie) Miller, Ronnie Miller and Keith Miller; five daughters, Cindy Chabaud, Dale (Jeff) Paige, Brenda (Keith) Higdon, Terri (Randy) Burns and Marti (Pat) Connelly; sisters-in-law, Clara Davis and Kay Davis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen L. “Buddy” Miley; her parents, Rhodum and Edna Davis; two sons, Mitchell Fred “Mickey” Miley and Richard Miller; a daughter-in-law, Karen Miller; and two brothers, Jimmy and Butch Davis.

Visitation was held Tuesday, April 30 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 6-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 9 a.m. and the funeral will be at 10 a.m., with Steve Davis conducting the funeral services in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
