DUBB

Johnnie B. Dubb, 91, a proud World War II Navy veteran, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Elnora Dubb of Bogalusa; three daughters, Johnnie Mae (Cornelius) Sykes of Bogalusa, Brenda (James) Porter of New Orleans and Sylvia Regina Dubb of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren, Andrea Dubb of Hattiesburg, Miss., Krystle N. Sykes of Bogalusa and Akira Dubb of San Diego; three great-grandchildren; two godsons, Joel Miller and Arthur Phelps, both of Bogalusa; a cousin, William Gaitor of San Diego; the children of the late Alberta B. King family of Bogalusa and the Jessie B. Kaigler family of New Orleans; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee Dubb and Inez B. Dubb.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 26 at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday at noon at St. John Elizabeth Temple Church of God in Christ, with the Rev. Bobby R. Brown, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.
